A practice cake. I really wanted to try to do a buttercream transfer, and I needed to practice a basket weave for a cake that I am doing for a shower. It is all buttercream over devil's food cake. The mini cupcakes are from a bouquet that I made. The cake was a lot of fun to make, had some problems with humidity and running black. If anyone has any suggestions on how to prevent running color I would appreciate tips!!
