This cake was for a 7 yo little girl. Her mom just said she wanted something western with a horse. Thanks goes to sugarshack -- you were my main inspiration! All buttercream w/fondant horse, banner and horseshoes.
I made a template out of heavy paper for the "tear drop". After the pink fondant was on the cake, I used the template all the way around. I added embellishments as I went. Probably could have used a bit more, but it was late and I just got tired! Thanks for your kind words and for looking! I am doing another pink western cake this weekend. I hope it turns out as well as this one . . . I really enjoyed this one! Good luck on yours!!
