Precious Promises
This cake was inspired by the Wilton Tiered Cakes book, except this is iced in buttercream with buttercream clouds. Ark and rainbow are cardboard covered with fondant, and animals are hand-sculpted from fondant. I made the animals' eyes tear-drop shaped so they looked like Precious Moments figurines since the baby's nursery is Precious Moments.
"Soft" makes perfect sens, dydemus. I was trying to go for the muted Precious Moments colors (but we all know how icing darkens up)
