Gingerbread Fantasy
This is my entry into the Cleveland Botanical Gardens Gingerbread Fantasy Contest 2006. Tree, rocks, bridge are gingerbread, kids, gnome, animals, flowers cattails are sugarpaste. Tree roots, wheelbarrow chocolate modeling paste, water is boiled sugar and there are fondant goldfish below the water surface. Made this in memory of my friend Linda who loved all things green.

Baked 14 x 20 " sheet of gingerbread, pressed with actual treee bark to get impression then cut into planks as needed. Freehanded bridge shape before baking
