This is a Croatian cake. Besides my funky whipped cream piping, this actually looks better than the one in the book. The icing isn't like what we think of as icing. It's egg yolks cooked with a bit of chocolate and sugar. When it thickens, add a bit of strong coffee, and when chilled, whip in butter. The cake itself is made ONLY of egg whites, walnuts, sugar and 2 tbsps. flour.
