This was my first try at a wedding cake. I made this for a bridal shower at work for two ladies who were getting married a few weeks apart. The color scheme matches their weddings, blue for one and green for the other. The flowers on top I made out of Fonadant. The flowers in the middle are fresh and match the brides bouquets. The cake is white with a fresh strawberry filling. I covered that with white marzipan and then covered that with Fonadant. This was my first time using marzipan and fondant.
