Poker on Cake Central

Although you can't tell from this picture, this cake has legs made from cake pillars. The instructions were on the Wilton site. The cards and chips are marshmallow fondant, and the sides are chocolate marshmallow fondant.

The writing on the cards is done with edible pens. The cards were cut 3/4 in by 1 1/4 inch and the poker chips were made using the circle cutters from Wilton. The smallest cutter is the one to use for the chips. The cake was easy to cover because I laid the green on top and covered the sides with the black. You don't have to worry about covering the whole cake and avoiding wrinkles. Everything lays on smoothly. The legs are glued to a smaller cake board and covered in black fondant.
