Thank you for the compliments. The roses and leaves are fondant and the leaves were dusted with luster dust. I've wanted for years to make lifelike roses. I think I've finally got it! :)
Thank you, stepintolife. The butterflies were royal icing that was traced from one of Wiltons older wedding cake books that has patterns in the back. If you draw or find a nice design, just lay wax paper over it and pipe each wing separately. Make many as they may break. I used fondant for the body.
