Cake 2006 Nec Birmingham, England Wedding Category

Cake 2006 Nec Birmingham, England Wedding Category on Cake Central

My cake entry for the Wedding category at the competition this year. I won a Gold award for this of which I am so proud and pleased. I so enjoyed doing these kind of cakes for customers that I chose to recreate my own for this event making the characters to my own specification for a change. I won't get the chance to do it again so I'm glad I did it now.

OHHHHHHH! Those are adorable! I looked at ALL of the close-ups! They all have such personality. I especially liked the little beads of sweat on the pregnant lady! You truly thought of everything. I looked at each one of them, anticipating the next one. Kind of like reading one of my husband's novels - I am always wanting him to write more because I hate to see those characters end!

This is so adorable! I love how you captured the moment the flower girl cries as that always seems to happen. Great work!
