On the first on I made I had help from another cc memeber (SherriSenger), I also found help in the forums in the thread titled "how do I do a cupcake bouquet", posted by nicoles-a-tryin (I've tried posting the link & it doesn't work in the comments)
These are beautiful and the colors are wonderful together! Are these in a pot or in cups stapled together? How do you get them out either way without getting icing all over? I've wanted to try one like this, but wasn't sure.
Thanks cambo - they are in plastic cups stapled together. I take out the first one from the outer edge by spearing it with a fork. Then the rest come out pretty easy without too much mess. The tops of the cc liners rest above the rim of the cups (I used 3.5 oz cups), so after the 1st one you can get your fingers in there and pinch the edge of the next one & pull it out.
That is so pretty.. I tried doing the icing like that on cupcakes a while back but couldn't get it to look like that.. Not sure what I was doing wrong.. I guess it take practice.. LOL.. Love your roses.. :)
Are the cups inside each other, stapled together and then glued to a cardboard? Hot glue? Do you bring up the tissue paper from under the cardboard up to the cupcakes? These are beautiful. I want to try to understand how you did these before I make a mess. Thanks for the help.

Ha - I should have said regular size "cupcakes" not roses! LOL
did you put the cupcake in place and then decorate them or did you icing them all and then put them in the arrangement? They look perfect!!!!
acadian - I put the cupcakes in and then decorate them. The leaves hide most of the imperfections.
