Marine Ball Flag Cake
I know I posted my finished cakes together, but this one needed a pic of its own. It was a dummy covered with a handpainted flag with fondant cut-out stars and fondant rope with luster dust. This one was my favorite. I didn't want to cut into the flag which is why it is a dummy.

Very very nice! How'd you get the stripes so straight? Great job.. I love the red stripes.. the coloring is great.
I measured out the lines with my ruler and marked with edible marker, then painted with straight Americolor on my brush. I wanted it to have a rich, deep color-kind of like an older flag and the Americolors were terrific for that!
