This is a fruit cake covered in chocolate fondant. It was requested to be made to look like a belt and buckle. The guy is in to Rodeo and calf roping. I carved the cake and used the off cuts to place as the belt part.

This is an awesome cake! how did you make the actual buckle?
Hi cowboysbutterfly. I made the buckle by cutting out a plaque from sugarpaste in the required shape. Then pressed a patchwork cutter into it to get the design. Downloaded a picture of a bucking bronco and sized it on the computer and then filled it in with sugarpaste copying the lines etc. Used my small pearl maker to make the gold edge around the buckle.
