This was for my good friend's daughter's baby shower. This was so much fun to make!! I got inspiration from several decorator's here on Cake Central. Ctorno and LisaS - thank you so much for the ideas!!
I put the top cake (the body) on it's own cake board and doweled the bottom cake to support the top one. I then was able to lift off the top cake and serve them separately.
This is the best one I've seen yet! I love it! What pans did you use if you don't mind me asking...I want to try and attempt one and I've seen so many beautiful ones but the belly on your cake is so round I love it!
Thank you! For the base cake I used the 11" oval pan, for the belly I used half of the sports ball pan, and for the "chest" I used the mini ball pan (1/2 for each side).
