Sister's Wedding

Sister's Wedding on Cake Central

This is my first wedding cake that I made for my sister's wedding on top of being matron of honor. There are 8 tiers. All Buttercream icing. Everyone loved it, including my sister & her new husband - which is all that counts.

This is just beautiful; now tell me how you manage to get that deep red color. What did you use? Also did it taste bitter? By now you should know thats what Im having a problem with. Ive tried Wilton no taste red, doesnt work for me. Job well done!! :)

I made a double batch of Wilton BC and used a whole container of Red Red and enough burgundy to make what I wanted (about 1/4 to 1/2 container). It was not bitter; however the roses were on the cake plate not the cake so they were not actually eaten.
