Better pic of box....My dog sammy. I have always loved the brownpink color combo also wanted to try to make one of my dogs. Isn't even close but it was my 1st try at something like this. Good thing it was for my own birthday tomorrow! LOL. Ran out of fondant so the top box has np trim and has that ugly unfinished look.

Happy birthday! It doesn't look unfinished at all. And the dog is adorable. You'll probably get a lot of requests for how to's so be prepared. I for ne would love to know how you did the dog without him falling off. I'm a huge dog lover and this is simply too cute. Into my faves it goes.

Thanks!Dog is made of rice crispie treats with sucker stick so he wouldn't fall off.I wanted to do him totally in fondant...but never looked furry enough, LOL As for the top not crushing him I followed the same technique as my treasure chest.
