My first horse cake and my first time transfering an image onto the cake with piping gel. Colored in with buttercream. I think next time I won't make the horse so big if I ever get another request for a horse! 10" white cake w/raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Thanks for looking :)
Thank you Shalderman for the nice compliment on the horse! :) That is exactly what I did! I traced the image on wax paper with a marker then I traced the image on the wax paper with piping gel and then transfered it on the cake and just colored it in with the round tips and waited for it to 'crust' and took my paper towel and with my finger smoothed out the parts of the horse. Thanks again :)
Looks like a FBCT to me too! GREAT JOB! I'm not as adventurous as you are. When I make a "horsie" cake I use my pantastic pan and mold one with chocolate! LOL

This is beautiful and so colorful!
I don't think your horse is too big. It makes your cake look like a round portrait.I think it's absolutely perfect. Great job.
It's beautiful! The details on the horse are great. You did a wonderful job! Thanks for sharing.
