Thanks! Actually I used a nascar pan (previously made a Jeff Gordon cake) and put it on top of a sheet cake and cut the excess off the sheet cake. The race car pan was too short. To get the details I rolled fondant in 'ropes' and placed them where I wanted the overlaying fondant to stick out. I'll do some things differently next time I make the cake. It turned out okay just not the way I envisioned, lol.
