Simple, elegant and very, very classy....this is one of my favorite cakes! And those roses are incredible - no way did I think they were sugar. If this was your first attempt, you definitely have a gift!

This cake is just "Absolutely Beautiful" love the color scheme, roses and little pearls. Would you mind pm me on how you did the quilting and where did you get the all in one rose cutter. I've never done gumpaste anything before  Excellant job :)

OMG! The pink roses are real??? Gorgeous! Probably a stupid question, but can you please tell me how to do the quilting? I am pretty new to all this, but I do have the quilting tool and I have a similar impression mat, but don't really know how to use either. Thanks for your help!

This is a perfect cake and I love that shade of green. Where do you get the in all in one rose cutter? Your gumpaste roses are flawless. 8O

I thought your flowers were silk! Awesome. Would you suggest the Wilton gumpaste starter kit for learning these flowers?

Thanks you for the kind comments. I really love doing gumpaste flowers but I am still very new to it. I was nervous but ready to try some roses. SweetRocky - I used the all in one rose cutter

The colors are gorgeous & those roses are to die for!!! I thought they were silk, too! Great job! I wouldn't show anyone my first gp roses.

This cake is really beautiful! Love the tiny flowers on the quilting, the colors, and your rose spray is EXCELLENT! You should be very proud of this project

They are gumpaste! I broke a few petals off during assemble - so those went to the back and to the bottom! Thank you all so much for the kind words and I'm glad you like the color combination. I was happy with the final cake but I had many hours of worrying over this one!! It was for my boss' wife's party so a bit of pressure there!

This is just wonderful--one of the prettiest and most elegant cakes I've seen! Please tell us how you did the diamonds and the bottom "apron" under the pearls.
