In album: bandana
I made this cake for my uncle and it was so much fun. The beer can is made up of 3 8" round cakes cute in half and filled w/ chocolate syrup buttercream. The logo didn't come out as nice as I had hoped, thats what I get for trying to do freehand and save time. The sides are a bandana print because my uncle always wears them. I also stuck some football candy melts cause he loves that too. It is buttercream w/ silver luster dust painted on. It is traveling really far tomorrow. Wish me luck :)

I just had a request to do a similar cake. Did you wait until frosting crusted to paint luster dust on it and did you use dowel rods to secure? I really like the way yours turned out.
