This is the first jewelry box cake I ever did and boy a learning experience. It was a chocolate cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents and fondant pearls. I think it would have looked better done entirely in fondant. It was made for a diva party a friend of mine (that has helped me sooooo much in my cake business) was having. She said they all enjoyed it.
