Did you have a hard time getting the inside of the (ball) cake done w/out burning the outside?

yes actually, i trimed off alot of the ball tops(hence the not quite shere)i thought it was just me. what do you do to fix it?

Someone suggested to bake at 325 for a longer time -- rather than at 350.
