Well . . .my Dear Daughter asked me for a castle cake so I tried my best. She loved it, and I think it turned out o.k. for my first. I look forward to improving! The cake was done, and I went to bed . . . . when I woke up the top layer had split in two!! I guess there is a reason why you are supposed to have holes all the way through both layers!! Live and learn. I was able to salvage it and my dear family said if I hadn't pointed it out they'd have never known. . . Hey gotta love family!
