Alison's Mermaid Cake
This is the 3rd cake I made, before I knew anything about CC. I just copied the directions from Wilton that you get with the doll pan. With this cake, I learned how to make shells and practiced with some of the other tips as well. As you can see, I didn't know anything about cake boards so I just dressed up my old cutting board. It seems like with each cake I improve a little and learn a little more. lol
You did a great job!!! Most anything will do as far as cake boards! You just use your imagionation!!!!
Hey we all started out from the bottom. The main thing is that we learn. I have been doing this for quite a while, and am still learning. You did a great job, especially for someone just learning!
