Aj Hawk Jersey
Back of AJ Hawk's Green Bay Packers jersey for a 4 year old boy. Cake is half choc and half white cake, but the white cake was colored pink per the little guys request. Icing is B/C with fondant accents. The fondant block of cheese was my poor attempt at humor since the fans are called "cheese heads". The Birthday boy also requested a pink butterfly on each shoulder. I complied, but took a picture first- I don't want any NFL players knocking on my door over pink butterflies! LOL!
so cute, looks great!
love the cake texture. What paper did you use for that?
It was actually done with new towel that comes with those Scunci cleaners. It hadn't been out of the box, so I got it out and washed it and gave it a test run. It has a real deep waffle like texture and was lint free, so it worked out perfectly.
Did you use the wilton pan? If not, what size did you use and how many did it feed? thanks for your feedback!
I didn't use a pan bc I think most of those pans only feed around 12 (but moreso bc I don't own one  ) I sketched out something on a piece of paper 11 x 15. When I cut the cake I used part of what I cut off along the sides of ribs/waist to make the sleeves longer and the shirt tail longer. Does that make sense? It feeds around 30 according to Wilton since it is a single layer, but I personally think it feeds more like 20/25 which is why we are fat here in the Mid-West!
