This is my third cake like this. I found out the strawberries can't be too over ripe or they will run on the cake too!!

It looks wonderful! I had the same problem with strawberries running but mine was much worse. Did you cut the top of the strawberries or just pull the leaves off?
I just pull the leaves off. My first one I did I cut the tops off and it ran very bad!!!
OH.....I could almost smell it!...must....resist....!!!!
