graduation cake

Chocolate bottom layer and vanilla top layer. Cut 3 shades of fondant strips and rolled them together to get tri-color panels. Scroll, cap, and curls are fondant. Should have used gum paste. Fondant dried for a week and stil the heat and humidity kept it soft. Curls kept breaking off. My daughter thought they were just up side down curls. Live and learn.
