There is a wooden dowel screwed to the baseboard and then another small board the shape of the head screwed to the other end of the dowel. The body is just stacked sheet cakes, carved. I used the grass tip to make the 'hair'. The eyes, nose, and tongue are fondant.
oh my goodness, I bought my daughter a dog just like this ( a toy) for christmas and we can't find it......if she sees this she'll flip out........awesome job....gotta exit the screen before she sees and thinks the comp. stole her dog.....LOL
