Dora The Explorer Sheet Cake
I did this for my daughter's 5th birthday. Since it was three years ago, I don't remember what I had originally planned, but I do know that I wound up looking at one of the napkins and free-handing Dora and Boots on the cake while holding the napkin in my left hand! I believe I pulled an all-nighter on this cake (we had only moved into our house a month earlier and I was still going through boxes to find all my kitchen supplies!). BTW, the flowers are store bought.

Thanks. Boy, I wish I had heard of Buttercream Transfers back then. Maybe then Dora wouldn't have gone through an age progression. lol
LOL, it's funny about the age progression, because my first thought was that Dora looked so grown up. It's still a wonderful cake, and you did a great job freehanding. I know first hand about running out of time and winging it.
