A Night At The Movies
This cake was entered in the local fair competition. It won First Place, Best of Show, and Judges Award. The Popcorn Bucket is a four layer cake, carved and covered with fondant. The popcorn, movie reel, and film are also made from MMF. There is a 6" cake in the middle of the movie reel. The clapboard is made from chocolate. This is the first cake I have ever covered completely with fondant. I'm new to cake decorating, but I've discovered I love it.
It looks wonderful and it puts my popcorn cake to shame.
Good Job - it looks nice! How did you do the popcorn with MMF - it looks real. I made a popcorn box but I just used real popcorn. I am pretty now also to cake decorating but I am having soooo much fun.
