"Larry" the Roasted Pig

This is the “main” cake for my Brother-In-Law’s “Luau” engagement party. It’s red-velvet with cream-cheese inside and butter-cream outside. The scorch marks are air-brushed. Ears & tail are fondant. Body is four layers of cake, with legs carved out. Neck and head are 9” round and a doll pan. This was our first time to make a cake of this size. Unfortunately the skin that formed on the icing overnight cracked as the cake jiggled during transit. (Learned about need for internal support. ;-D)
