Pirates On Skull Island
Treasure has been buried in Skull Island. These pirates got hold of the map and have now arrived to get to the treasure. A choc piece wrapped in gold foil was buried in the cake. The birthday boy used the map to get to the candy.
The skull and pirates were part of a toy set. I used sugarpaste to build the skull hill.

The island is 10in sq cake on a 13in board, set at an angle. Skull and pirates are part of a MegaBloks set from the Pyrates range. Modelling sugar paste wrapped the skull and formed into a hill, decorated with BC. Boat and oar made with modelling sugarpaste. Plastic coconut tree and cane rock sugar for rocks. A small square of cake cut out to plant a square of chocolate in gold wrapper. Cover "treasure" before icing cake. Draw up treasure map for treasure hunt.
