Princess Ladybug cake

Here is my daughter's 3rd birthday cake. It was done to match the princess lady bug partyware. Buttercream with fondant accents and molding fondant characters with royal icing butterflies and 3 topper.

This looks so incredible... the detail is amazing, I'm sure they adored the cake! How did you get the top cake shaped like a cupcake?

Thanks! I baked one of the cakes with more batter in it so it rose above the pan and did not trim it, shape is built up with buttercream swirls.
