This was for a wedding at the weekend. The bride originally wanted red roses on the top but when she saw another cake I'd done, with feathers, she changed her mind.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. The middle pillar is a candle stick. The design around the cake was made using patchwork cutters & gum paste. They were left to dry so they were easier to handle & then I attched them with a small amount of royal icing.
