Can i ask what color petal dust did you use on the petals. I am making some flowers on my mother in law s cake i am trying a lily and so far no luck with it and what did you apply it with, i have been using my brushes, but i might try q tips. thank you
I used a combination of colors, Raspberry luster dust and Magenta and Burgundy petal dust applied with an artists paint brush. The dots are Burgundy dust thinned with Everclear. Some people use these colors thinned with Everclear and sprayed on with an airbrush.
thank you, that is very helpful

nice cake, plse let me know the trick to painting flowers, do you use water paint and brush
Thanks. I use dry petal dusts brushed on and then steamed. Or I mix the dusts with alcohol and paint them on.
