Just a big blob of royal icing in the center and then when I moved up to the next layer I added another mound of royal and another when I got to the top layer. I also begin each bow using a round disk of fondant that I cut with a circle cutter and let them dry. I make a bunch in advance so I can have them on hand. Hope this helps. Nice bow How did you find making it. I hated making mine....it seemed to take forever.

Really, I loved making the bow, I really like being able to use my stitching wheel around the edges of the bow. Don't worry, I think it gets easier and more fun the more you make.

Did you put anything in the middle of the bow to hold all the pieces together?
