For a first wedding cake, you did a good job. Like your flowers.

Yes Kylie, it was your cake that she saw. Did you ever get to make the real thing? Please tell me how you get such wonderful sharp edges on your cakes, mine always look much more rounded. Thanks for the inspiration.

thanks roseyrider, unfortunately i didnt get to make the real thing, i never heard back from the bride....maybe one day i will get to make it. as for sharp corners, im not real sure..lol. i only use really dense cakes, with a very thin layer of ganache then apply the fondant and smooth with my fondant smoothers, thats all i usually do.. cheers Kylie
