My First Ever Wedding Cake

Okay, I know it is rough! Very rough! I was asked to do an informal wedding cake in a beachy theme using pink and silver. I wanted to try a bit more than "informal" and felt comfortable trying it as my customer was very relaxed! I learned alot and won't be jumping in to do any wedding cakes again soon! I loved making those shells though! I used luster dust over them. They were the best part!

This doesn't look like a first wedding cake to me for sure. Where did you get your shell molds? My daughter is having a beach wedding this fall and wants them.

Thanks so much everyone for such positive comments! I got the shell molds online from Cakes n' Things Candy Mold Central and a couple from Michaels.
