Thanks everyone. Of course you can borrow my idea, cakesbyallison. I'd be flattered. I did the chains by extruding the gumpaste with a gun then forming it into circles and painting with luster dust.

Sorry, I don't have templates. I just put a piece of parchment paper over the cake and drew it out. I didn't bother to save it.
