Chris & Lauren's Baby Shower

My first stacked cake!! Thanks again to everyone that gave me advice in the forum. 10" is yellow with strawberry pastry filling, 8" is chocolate with chocolate BC; all covered and decorated in fondant; gumpaste bow. Should be a gumpaste mom, but she broke during transit so the one in the picture is a cutout from the paper plate. Inspired by several mod mom cakes in the CC gallery. Thanks for looking!

This is an awesome take on the mod mom pattern. I love this pattern anyways and you did a great job with the theme. I so hope to be able to use this idea some day soon.

I love how you did the impressions into the fondant, to make it look like the design on the umbrella. Very creative. It's just beautiful!
