Anxiously Awaiting!
This was for a baby shower...the little cuddly teddy bear is anxiously awaiting the little one's arrival to give the gift to her! I had a lot fo fun with this one! It is 3 layers of vanilla cake with strawberry cream cheese filling, all buttercream except the bow.
How did you do the out lining all around the cake...how did you get it so thin and not run...please let me know thanks
For the cornelli lace, I used a medium consistancy icing and tip # 2. I hope that is what you were talking about luvhavingbgtwins! If not...PM me and I will be glad to help you out! Thanks!

Your present cake is beautiful, and cuz it is so pretty it didn't need the "real" curly ribbon (just my 2 cents). And your teddy bear is absolutely adorable! BTW, when do you have time to bake with all the kids. :D
LOL...I do ALL of my baking after they go to bed! On Fridays I have my Mom watch the 2 little ones while the others are at school...and that is when I go out to my shop and decorate. It is getting harder though...will probably have to get Mom for 2 days a week now. Oh...and the curly ribbon was attached to the sign that I stuck in it....I didn't even think about it looking like it was part of the cake! Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
