Falling leaves

Ok I have an emotional connection to this cake :-) hehe I tweeked the flavorings and everything, it is chocolate, and coffee flavored to really make it taste warm and fall like. The leaves are cut and hand painted fondant.

so whats the trick. How do you ge them shiny?

I painted them with a combinaion of americolor, vanilla, and a little piping gel :-)

This is so cute! I am doing an oval basketweave with choc BC cake with leaves. I just have to figure out how to do the leaves.

I would like to do this same idea but with a bundt cake to look like a fall wreath-any suggestions
