Luau Cake Flowers
Here is a closer look at my flowers and palm trees. I really enjoyed making this cake. They loved it. Unfortunately it got caught in the rain when it started unexpectantly. Boy did that hurt! I almost cried. Someone saved it though.

Thank you. The flowers are royal icing. I tint my icing and the I stripe each bag vertically (about 4 stripes evenly spaced) with the gel colorthe bag vertically with the color. Then I pipe the flowers out. It take a bit for the color to take to the icing but it does make a difference. The flowers are from the Wilton Course 2 book. Its simple.
