In community album: Thanksgiving

OktoberFest Entry

I entered this tonight in a local Bank's weekend festival. I find out tomorrow if I won anything. This is a chocolate raspberry cake made with Godiva White Chocolate liquor. Filled with raspberry preserves and covered in white chocolate raspberry fondant. Wish me luck

Did you dust the leaves with the luster dust??? What colors??? Is that the only painting you did on the leaves or was there more? Thanks! I hope you win!!

I won 1st place! Luster dust on the leaves, copper and pumpkin luster dust. The cake I dusted with the same colors after I brushed on brown and black icing colors. The leaves only have luster dust. They were made with candy melts

Those leaves are absolutely incredible. I just read how you did them and I can't wait to try them for my final class ll cake!
