This cake was so hard for me to cover in fondant.. It is all vanilla cake with whiskey frosting! Tried to get it to stand up but was leaning! Was about to throw in the trash and thought it looked good laying down so made some adjustments to it! Thank goodness I already threw one bottle cake and away but made this one work ..... hopefully the guy will like it!

I just used regular buttercream and added whiskey to thin out icing ans spread it all over and in the middle of the cake. Then it seeped into the cake and the guy ate three huge pieces of it! The whole party loved it! I heard it is great with choc.buttercream as well!
