Into my fav's this one goes, cute idea! I've got the same cake plate, I bought it at TJ Maxx probably 2 years ago, it's a mini that I use for a smash cake for the little girls in our family on their 1st birthday, I've got names and dates written in permanent marker on the bottom...just one of those little traditions I started :)
