Believe it or not, this was for a six year old's birthday party. It was a blast to make, although very time consuming. Everything is covered in MMF, gumpaste shoes and fondant pearls. Sunglasses were gumpaste with sugar lenses. The shopping bag was WASC with rasberry filling and white chocolate ganache, the Chanel purse was a rum cake.

Thank you! For the glasses, I cut them out of gumpaste and allowed them to harden completely. Then, I melted sugar with corn syrup until it hit the hard candy stage. Very carefully spooned the hot sugar into the frames and allowed to cool. The arms to the sunglasses were attached at the last minute using a dab of icing to stick them together.

Yes I do believe for a 6 year old. I have a 7yr who cannot go out of the house without the perfect shoes and accessories. Great job on the cake.
