In album: glitter
This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. Top portion of each layer is iced in plum buttercream and covered with plum cornelli lace. Each color is separated by a strand of pearls that were provided by the bride's mother. The bottom portion of each layer was covered with edible glitter, but the room was too dark for the shimmer to stand out.

Thanks so much. Yes, it was a lot of work. Each layer was torted into 4 layers with fillings in each layer. Total filling, icing, color matching, decorating time.....9 hours!!!!! That was a long day.
