For the cake, I baked two 8-9 inch round cakes. Then after they were cooled, I sliced both in half. I frosted all four together, with the flat-side up. I purchased malt balls for canons and Rolo's for the side of the cake. For the top of the cake you can purchase the Pepperidge Farm long spiral cookies, but I had to improvise and just use a straight line of frosting around the top of the cake. Using wood dowels I placed whilte paper on each and write your birthday message.
