Donkey From Shrek
This cake was made at a time when there wasn't a "Shrek" movie out in theaters and I couldn't find a coloring book picture to go by. I had to draw this freehanded by looking at the dvd box. I thought it turned out okay considering. It was actually made for a 43 year old lady's birthday! All buttercream.
Love the cake. How did you transfer your drawing to your cake?
I do the drawing on copier paper. After my icing has crusted a bit, I lay the cut out drawing on the cake and trace around it with a toothpick. After the outline is on, then I'll go back and cut out the different sections and lay them back on and trace again to get more detail. Hope this makes sense! :?
