Baby's First Birthday

I'm sure this is no feat to you pros out there! But here is my first gift box cake. It was for a little girl's first birthday today. The colors are from the invitation. I was going to do a lid but I ran out of fondant and it was too late to make another batch. And the bow didn't come out exactly how I wanted. The small cake was just for the baby. Be easy on me, this is my first picture share!

Your cake looks great! And I know how tricky those bows are - I made my first one a few weeks ago, twice as the first was so bad and then the cake got cancelled!

I will definitely have to keep working on those bows. My fondant wasn't really working with me either. I'm going to use gumpaste the next time.
